Thomas R. Schreiner, Ph.D

Thomas, a Pauline scholar, is a professor of New Testament interpretation and the Associate Dean of the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before then he served 11 years on the faculty at Bethel Theological Seminary. He also taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University.

Douglas Moo, Ph.D.

Douglas is a New Testament professor at Wheaton College. He has served on the Committee on Bible Translation (the group of scholars charged with revising the text of the NIV). Before that, for over twenty years, he was based at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Deerfield, IL.

Rev. Dr. Gregory K. Beale

Gregory holds the J. Gresham Machen chair of New Testament and is research professor of New Testament and biblical interpretation at Westminster Theological Seminary. Academic interests include the New Testament’s use of the Old Testament, the book of Revelation, and the topic of inerrancy, among others.

Dr. Voddie T. Baucham, Jr.

Voddie currently serves as Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia. His area of emphasis is Cultural Apologetics. Whether teaching on classical apologetic issues, or the resurrection of Christ; or teaching on biblical manhood/womanhood, marriage and family, he helps ordinary people understand the significance of thinking and living biblically in every area of life.

Dr. Bill Mounce

Bill is the founder and President of BiblicalTraining.org, serves on the Committee for Bible Translation (which is responsible for the NIV translation of the Bible), and has written the best-selling biblical Greek textbook, Basics of Biblical Greek, and many other Greek resources. He was the New Testament chair for the English Standard Version, and speaks and blogs regularly on issues relating to trusting the Bible, the Pastoral Epistles (1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus), Greek, and issues of spiritual growth.

Dr. James R. Newheiser, Jr.

James is the Director of the Christian Counseling Program and Associate Professor of Christian Counseling and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary Charlotte. He is also the Director of the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship (formerly CCEF West). Before that, for 25 years, he served as the Preaching Pastor at Grace Bible Church in Escondido, California.

Dr. Guy P. Waters

Dr. Guy Waters is the Professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary with a particular interest in the letters and theology of Paul, the use of Scripture in the New Testament, and the Synoptic Gospels. Prior to teaching at RTS Jackson, he spent one year teaching Hellenistic Greek at Duke Divinity School and five years as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Belhaven College.

Dr. Benjamin Gladd

Ben is associate professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. His academic interests include the New Testament’s use of the Old Testament, the Gospels, 1 Corinthians, and biblical theology. Before teaching at RTS, he served as associate pastor at Redeemer Church in Apple Valley, CA. Ben and his wife, Nikki, have been married for fifteen years and have two sons.

Chris Bruno, Ph.D

Chris Bruno is the incoming site director of the Hawaii extension of Bethlehem College & Seminary and a global partner with Training Leaders International. He will also be a member of Kailua Baptist Church. Before moving back to Oahu in July 2021, where he previously served as a pastor and teacher, Chris was on faculty at Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, Cedarville University, and Northland International University.

 
 
 
 
 

Dr. Sam Renihan

Having felt an internal call to the ministry, largely fueled by a gradual external call from TRBC, Sam completed an MDiv at Westminster Seminary California and the Institute of Reformed Baptist studies. In September of 2012, he was ordained and installed at Trinity Reformed Baptist Church. Sam completed a Ph.D. at the Free University of Amsterdam in October 2017. In his time off Sam enjoys good food, researching and writing on Baptist history, and playing with his son.
